KYC Process

Automated Identity Validation service
You will be now requested to validate your identity using an automated process that will require to provide images of your identity document and face.
In order to facilitate the process, please consider these requirements:

1. If you are using your webcam, please ensure the lighting is adequate. Low lighting will produce bad quality images that will not be usable in most cases
2. When you capture the image of your identity documents, please try to capture the full document without covering it with your fingers. Specially, don’t cover texts, logos or images
3. Try to keep steady your document, so the image is not blurry. If in the capture preview you can’t read the text, please try again before uploading the capture
4. When capture the image of your face, please REMOVE GLASSES OR OTHER COMPLEMENTS.

If the process fails at the last verification steps, you can try again in a later moment (IMO, “can try again later by”or “can restart the KYC by”) going to your WISeID Account profile and using the option to repeat the KYC process.(I would also try and find another word for process to avoid too much repetition) If the process fails for a consecutive (IMO, “second” or a definitive number of attempts after which this happens) time, an administrator will be notified and will try to do (“attempt to carry out”) a manual validation or will contact you with further instructions.

If the process fails at the last verification steps, you can try again in a later moment, going to your WISeID Account profile and using the option to repeat the KYC process.
If the process fails for a consecutive time, an administrator will be notified and will try to do a manual validation or will contact you with further instructions.
PRIVACY NOTE: For audit purposes we will keep proof of your identity validation, but WISeKey will not keep useable copies of your captured images.
